Morgan Stanley Smith Barney is a leading global Financial Services firm with offices in 30+ countries. I, Ron Phelps, have worked with Morgan Stanley since 1996 as a Wealth Advisor and have been appointed to First Vice President. I work and live on Madison's West side.
Background:
Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I moved to Madison in 1996 when I started my career with Morgan Stanley. In my past careers, I owned my own tax service, RL Phelps, LLC and also managed a large agency in Brookfield.
Description of Services:
I assist my clients in managing their wealth from debt and asset management to estate planning and wealth transference to future generations. I have formed my own Team at Morgan Stanley known as the Phelps group comprised of my dedicated Client Support Specialist, Wendy Campbell, my Research Analyst, Jacob Hamus and myself. The value that I bring as a Wealth Advisor is effective communication coupled with strategy for debt and asset management from the best resources the markets have to offer. Through Morgan Stanley Smith Barney I have the ability to acquire Initial Public Offerings for my clients that have the desire as well as New Debt offerings for both taxable and tax-free needs. Education:
Bachelor of Arts Degree, Cardinal Stritch College - major in Accounting. For licenses, I hold the Series 7 (Securities Registration), Series 63 (State Registration), Series 65 (Registered Investment Advisor), Series 31 (Futures License) and Full Life and Health Insurance Licenses. I work with clients presently in 13 states and 3 countries.
