Iain Macfarlane is the President and Founder of BizCOACHING & Associates, LLC, that he founded in April 2004. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, the company is a franchise of ActionCOACH that is the World’s #1 Business Services Franchise (Entrepreneur Magazine, Jan. 2010). ActionCOACH began in 1993 and currently has over 1,000 coaches worldwide with about half in North America.
In March 2006, Iain Macfarlane was awarded Coach of the Year ActionCOACH North America for 2005. In September 2006, he was appointed to the ActionCOACH Franchisee Advisory Board for North America. In 2007 he became a Global Trainer for new coaches of ActionCOACH and he also certified as an Executive Coach with The Center for Executive Coaching. In 2008, he was certified as a Strategic Planning & Operational Planning Consultant to work with CEO’s, Boards of Directors and executive management teams for mid to large companies. He received the best client retention award for the Americas for 2009. He has also received the ActionCLUB Award for the ActionCOACH organization, Globally, for 2010. In 2009, Iain became the host on Madison 1670 WTDY of “The Iain Macfarlane Business Program” to provide advice to business owners and business executives.
